The Moosburg autumn fair

The Herbstschau or autumn fair is the most important popular festival in Moosburg. It follows the tradition of the first agricultural fair of 1862; like then, barley and hop are valued during the fair. The autumn fair takes place for ten days in September in Viehmarktplatz. A variety of bands entertains the guests in the beer hall.

Outside the beer hall is an amusement park with merry-go-rounds and snack bars. Additional events like exhibitions, processions, flea markets, sport events, sightseeing flights and fireworks make the autumn fair an attraction for the whole region. Pictures: © WebTeam Moosburg
